How to remove burrs from die castings

As a die-casting method, sufficient pressure must be ensured during the die-casting process. Meanwhile, various factors can seriously affect the production of zinc alloy die castings, and burrs have become a headache for many die casting factories. The four commonly used methods for deburring die castings are as follows:

  1. Hot blast deburring
Thermal explosion deburring is a process that involves introducing some flammable gases into a furnace, and then through the action of certain media and conditions, causing the gas to instantly explode, using it to dissolve and remove burrs. The equipment is expensive, the operation requires high technical requirements, and the efficiency is low. Rust and deformation are mainly used in high-precision die casting components such as automobiles.
  1. Deburring of engraving machine
The equipment is not very expensive and is suitable for simple spatial structures. The required deburring positions are simple and regular.
  1. Chemical deburring
Using the principle of electrochemical reaction, automatically and selectively perform deburring operations on parts made of metal materials.
Suitable for internal burrs that are difficult to remove, suitable for small burrs on pump bodies, valve bodies, and other products (thickness less than 0.07mm)
  2. High pressure water jet deburring
Using water as a medium and utilizing its instantaneous impact force to remove burrs and burrs generated after processing, it can also achieve the purpose of cleaning. The equipment is expensive and mainly used in the heart of automobiles and hydraulic control systems of engineering machinery.
